Shuting Jiang is a multimedia designer, who is passionate about transforming imaginary visions into real life. She received a master’s degree in Integrated Digital Media from New York University in May 2019, with a focus on User Experience Design and Virtual Reality.
She has been working at the NYU IT department as a UX Designer from Summer 2018 until her graduation and participated in multiple projects, such as TorchUI Portal Design Guide Website, NYU AR Map, etc. Prior to my graduate study, I worked as a UI/UX designer at a design company, Lumina, for two years, and I'm skilled at creating works based on the differences of user groups.
Her VR project “Drugmatic” was selected as the Best VR Finalist in the Reality Virtually Hackathon 2019 contest hosted by MIT Media Lab. Also, she had a showcase of her interactive dance live performance "The Tension of Self", which made by motion capture, project mapping, and 3D modeling. The Narrative VR animation "Mirror" was another highlight of her works.
